This is a Maple kitchen with traditional raised panel doors. Concealed hinges on inset doors make for a very clean look. Cabinets were finished with 2 coats of catalyzed lacquer.
A sleek contemporary design was the customer's request for this kitchen project. Cabinets were built with Cherry and Birds Eye Maple veneers and finished with 3 coats of catalyzed varnish. The peninsula serves as a divider between the great room and the kitchen. Stainless steel hardware, appliances and granite counter tops complete the look. The built in bar adjacent to the kitchen was built to match the kitchen cabinets.
This was an interesting project. The customer wanted to finish off their basement with a bar and entertainment center. The existing angled walls provided the idea for an octagonal shaped bar. The raised panel doors on the entertainment center doors match the panels on the front of the bar. Tying everything together is the wall paneling in the same wood and color as the cabinets.
This home office/computer desk in Red Oak with a plastic laminate counter top organizes the space well.
